The Long-Tailed House Bat (Eptesicus hottentotus) is a species of vesper bat in the Vespertilionidae family. It can be found in the following countries: Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. It is found in these habitats: dry savanna, moist savanna, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, Mediterranean-type shrubby vegetation, rocky areas, and caves.
