Lonelyville is a small beach community located in the western end of Fire Island.[1] It has approximately 60 houses and is located between Dunewood and Atlantique. The closest ferry service is from Dunewood. There are no stores but it is a fairly easy walk or bike ride to Fair Harbor. The majority of the houses are not winterized and consequently there are only a handful of year-round residents.
Along with Dunewood, Lonelyville is part of the Fair Harbor Fire District.
