Lone Star Steel Company

The Lone Star Steel Company, a subsidiary of Lone Star Technologies, is a company based in Lone Star, Texas. It specializes in making tubular steel with outer diameters ranging from 16 inches to 1.415 inches.

The wholly owned Texas and Northern Railway connects the steel plant at Lone Star to the Kansas City Southern Railway.

Lone Star Steel was sold to US Steel on March 29 2007.
