The London Leopards are a British basketball team that competes in the English Basketball League Division 1. The team was founded in 1997 as Ware Fire and later renamed to Ware Rebels. Following a merger in 2004, the team was renamed to Essex & Herts Leopards. In 2006 Leopards won the National Cup at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham defeating Reading Rockets 79-75.

For the 2006/07 season they were renamed as London Leopards to attract a bigger fanbase from England's capital city and finished in 4th place in EBL1 the clubs highest ever league place.

The team should not be confused with the now defunct Essex Leopards (Formerly Greater London Leopards), who folded in 2003, although many of the original Leopards fans now follow the new, reincarnated Leopards.
