[edit] History
Route E5 is one of three E-routes that does not serve Ealing but it does serve Greenford.
When the E-routes where re-tendered in 1997, Centrewest ordered a batch of Marshall Minibuses for routes E5, E6 and E10, but they took a very long time to arrive. These buses kept on breaking down and were unpleasant to ride on, so they were quickly replaced by mini Dennis Dart SLF / Marshall Capitals (DM).
The E5 was extended to Perivale Medway Estate in 2002 and round the corner to Tesco's in December 2006.
