Lois Tarkanian is a Las Vegas, Nevada politician, and wife of former college basketball coach Jerry Tarkanian.

Tarkanian served for 12 years as a member of the Clark County School District board from 1993-2005.

Tarkanian was elected to the Las Vegas City Council representing Ward 1 following a victory in a recall election against Janet Moncrief, the incumbent.[1] She was reelected for a full term in 2007.[2]
