Lois Lehner is the author of Lehner's Encyclopedia of U.S. Marks on Pottery, Porcelain and Clay collector books,Schroeder Publishing co, She graduated from Ohio State University and taught speech and English for eighteen years in Delaware County, Ohio, where she was born and lived all of her life.
She did extensive research on pottery and some study on glass which resulted in two other published books: Ohio Pottery and Glass and Manufacturers, and American Kitchen and Dinner Wares. Lois has written numerous articles for various collector's papers including a monthly column for the Antique Trader. Other publications that have printed her articles over the years include Depression Glass Daze, The Glaze, American Art Pottery, American Clay Exchange, Tri-state Trader, Collector News, Rainbow Glass Review, Antique Reporter, Bottle Trader, and Old Bottle Magazine.
