Logos Naki World (English: World Without Words)is an OP by Japanese composer Yasushi Ishii. It is used as the opening theme to the televised anime Hellsing. The song's was released on both Hellsing soundtracks, with the lyrics located in the compact disc jacket.
[edit] Lyrics
In true form with the Japanese release of the soundtracks, the lyrics provided are written in katakana. Though the song is sang in English, due to the writing and singing style, many words become ambiguous. Many proponents of this theory take "logos" to be the Greek word often translated "word," thus making the title of the song "World Without Words." Others believe it to be an obscure reference to a portion of Mass that, if said in Greek, states that, in the beginning, God was "The Word" or "The Logos". However, the National Captioning Institute has listed the true English lyrics[citation needed] as:
- Tell me cool vibration
- Live your fantasy
- Tell me who, tell me surely, and the name
- I'll be stunned, I'll be waiting
- Ghosts of horror show and I don't care
- Just say ya love
- Oh down down, wish it's just a revelation
- Take me once, take me to the revolution
- Down down won't ya hear the vibration?
- Take me home, and I'll look to return
- (Shooby dooby doo, Shooby dooby doo, Durull)
- (Shooby dooby doo, Shooby dooby doo, Durull)
- Double the pain
- Double the pleasure
- Double your fantasy
- Trust beauty, just say ya love
- Oh down down, wish it's just a revelation
- Take me once, take me to the revolution
- Down down won't ya hear the vibration?
- Take me home, and I'll look to return
- (Shooby dooby doo, Shooby dooby doo, Durull)
- (Shooby dooby doo, Shooby dooby doo, Durull)
- Oh down down, wish it's just a revelation
- Take me once, take me to the revolution
- Down down won't ya hear the vibration?
- Take me home, and I'll look to return
