Loewen Windows is a large window and door manufacturer based in Steinbach, Manitoba, Canada. It was started in 1905 by Mennonite settlers. Loewen makes wooden windows and doors and specializes in the high-end market. They currently employ approximately 1,500 people at their Steinbach plant, making it the largest employer in the region.[citation needed]
