[edit] What a useless template
This template is particularly useless, as it completely fails to give (or link to) any advice on how to add geographic coordinates to a linear feature. It is especially unhelpful when applied to an article that already has one of the 'coor title' style coordinate templates applied to it.
This template should be enhanced with a link to an appropriate MoS entry that gives advice on how to add multiple geographic coordinates to a linear feature. For example do you simply put in multiple 'coor title' entries, or keep the single 'coor title' for a 'central' location, and put in multiple 'coor non-title' entries for other points. If the latter, where should these enties go; embedded in text; in the external links section; somewhere else?. How does this impact tools that correlate the coor templates with mapping software?.
Unless and until this can be done, this template is simply cluttering articles and doing more harm than good, and it should therefore be suppressed. -- Chris j wood 19:27, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
