[edit] UT1 ± longitude

This is the same as UT1 corrected for your longitude, isn't it? —Ashley Y 07:33, 24 April 2006 (UTC)

Yes, except that UT1 was called civil Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) during the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries when local mean time was used by various localities. — Joe Kress 05:10, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
