Nore’s new stepmother(Lisette), stepbrother(Gabriel) and stepsister(Josie) have a shocking secret and they’re willing to do anything to protect it. Even commit murder on Nore and her father Chuck.

The story's teen-aged protagonist, Nore, must deal with her mother's death, her father's re-marriage, and the new stepmother, stepbrother, and stepsister. Nore's dreams include warnings from her deceased mother.[3] Characters in the novel must deal with the concepts of aging, death, eternal youth and everlasting life.[4]
