Can someone clarify why they do not consider this person is notable? If there is no response in a few days I will delete the flag. PatGallacher 11:58, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
- He died climbing Mount Everest. Not the first...won't be the last. I don't consider that to be a claim for notability. --OnoremDil 13:57, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
- Possibly, but the combination of climbing the mountain, dying descending from the summit, and being a nephew of the great Tenzing Norgay does add up to notability. PatGallacher 21:34, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
- I disagree. Relation to notability doesn't make a person notable. He climbed the mountain...not every climber belongs here. He died on it...this isn't a memorial. That's just my opinion. --OnoremDil 21:50, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
