LNER Peppercorn A2 Class 4-6-2 No. 60532 Blue Peter was built at Doncaster Works.

Blue Peter worked between 1948 and 1966. Blue Peter was among the last three A2's to be withdrawn.
[edit] Preservation
After preservation, No. 60532 was renumbered a fictional No. 532. She went to the Dinting Railway Centre, but was restored to BR livery and worked many main line tours. She was displayed in Darlington Railway Centre and Museum for many years, but in 2007, she was moved to Barrow Hill Roundhouse, where she now resides.
