Lleyn was a rural district in the administrative county of Caernarvonshire from 1894 to 1974. The district was formed from the area of the Pwllheli Rural Sanitary District under the Local Government Act 1894. The rural district was named after the Llŷn Peninsula.
At creation, the district consisted of the following civil parishes:

In 1934, under a County Review Order, the parishes marked † were abolished with their areas distributed among other parishes: a new parish of Buan was formed by the merger of Ceidio and Llanfihangel Bachalleath, and the parish of Dolbenmaen was transferred from Glaslyn Rural District.
The rural district was abolished in 1974, with its area being included in the district of Dwyfor, in the new county of Gwynedd.
