Llanvetherine (Welsh: Llanwytherin) is a village in Monmouthshire, south east Wales, United Kingdom.

Llanvetherine is located five miles north east of Abergavenny on the B4521 road to Ross-on-Wye.

The village has a church, dedicated to St. James the Elder.

Llanvetherine is near White Castle (Wales), one of three important border castles built by the Normans after the conquest, under Marcher Lords to control and make safe this sector of the Welsh Marches.

Offa's Dyke Path long distance footpath passes through the village.
