Previous you contributed to the article Interracial friendships. You also defended the article on its talk page. The article is currently up for AfD. I'm aware that the issue is important and well covered in academic discussion, but I’m not very familiar with the literature. Given your talk page post, I'm guessing you have some familiarity with the literature and some interest in the topic. Usually, I would not do anything close to "canvassing for votes". In this case, however, you've virtually already cast a keep vote on the articles talk page. If you still feel the same way, you may wish to reiterate your argument in the current AfD.
