[edit] Release dates

The album was available at a local retail outlet (Wal-Mart, NH, USA) on May 2, 2006 but not yet available at internet stores (say iTunes) until May 9, 2006. I hope this clarifies the "release date" info in the infobox. hydnjo talk 22:26, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Chart positions

Any reason not to include chart positions ? -- Beardo 03:52, 22 May 2006 (UTC)

For how long and will you keep it current? --hydnjo talk 17:52, 23 May 2006 (UTC)

Many albums list the highest chart position - that is what I meant. Not the current position (although a note that it is current is useful to warn editors to check if it goes higher). They were included by an editor, removed by a bot and restored by someone else. -- Beardo 21:57, 23 May 2006 (UTC)

What do you think about formatting it as was done with Bullet in a Bible so there's no confusion? --hydnjo talk 22:33, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
That seems excessive to me. What do others think ? -- Beardo 23:54, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
Beardo, I'm not others but I had another thought/question: Would it make sense after a while to just note the highest chart position and when? --hydnjo talk 23:28, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
hydnjo - that makes sense to me. -- Beardo 12:01, 26 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Metal

Most references talk about Young saying the album is "metal folk protest". Did he actually describe the backing as "metal" anywhere ? -- Beardo 23:54, 23 May 2006 (UTC)

Searching "Living With War" metal gets a lot of hits but haven't come across any actual reference to a NY quote. --hydnjo talk 00:22, 24 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Survey

Add "* Support" or "* Oppose" followed by an optional one-sentence explanation, then sign your opinion with ~~~~

  • Support Oppose. The album cover is all CAPS so no help there. Two of the three professional reviews we cite, AMG and TMB, present the title with a lc "w" (the exception being RS, they must have copied from us ;-). --hydnjo talk 02:55, 20 August 2006 (UTC) --hydnjo talk 19:06, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
    • Looks like I didn't do enough research. Although I can find both, LWW is much more prevalent (iTMS, Amazon, Beardo's cites below and many others). --hydnjo talk 20:40, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
  • Oppose We need something more definitive than that. www.neilyoung.com generally refers to LWW or Living With War (all capitals). www.repriserecords.com also uses Living With War. -- Beardo 04:52, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
