Talk:Live 8 concert, Barrie
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The live 8 Website DOSE NOT say this event is in Toronto [1] --65.94.107.117 1 July 2005 14:59 (UTC)
And yet when the concert is being talked about internationally, it's either being called Toronto or Ontario by the presenters (like Will Smith or Bob Geldof).--Madchester July 2, 2005 17:03 (UTC)

[edit] Move to Live 8 concert, Barrie?
What do you think? The other live 8's are listed by city. --

- I agree with you. Barrie might not be as famous as some of the other cities but all others are listed by city names so this one ought to be as well. sikander July 3, 2005 05:44 (UTC)
- Yes, Barrie isn't very big, but I say it's POV against Barrie! :) --

[edit] Set list order
I have no information on this (I was at Hyde Park), but the artist/set list seems alphabetical, rather than the more logical (to my mind) order of playing. The Hyde Park version uses order of playing, which makes much more sense for an event of this nature. Can people please revise this? ByeByeBaby 5 July 2005 00:10 (UTC)
- I had tickets to this show (but didn't go).... this was a poorly organized concert, but if anyone wants to expand this any further, they should do so, by all means. --Madchester July 6, 2005 18:31 (UTC)
Hey I kinda need help putting a pic of Molson Park (Park Place) from July 2nd up, plus I can give you all the times the preformers were on--JB 7 July 2005 05:37 (UTC)
[edit] Cleanup
I've cleaned up an otherwise awful article on an awful concert into a better article on an awful concert. Bolded the artists, added performance photos and added a section on the pre-show rumours and preparations. Enjoy. --Madchester 04:43, July 12, 2005 (UTC)

Image:BruceCockburnLive8.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion.
