Livio Armando Prieto (born 31st July 1981 in Córdoba) is an Argentine footballer. A left-footed midfielder, Prieto has had stints at C.D. Santa Clara, Atletico Mineiro, AEK and Independiente.
Prieto had agreed to terms to play for the Newcastle Jets in the 2007-2008 season of the Australian A-League but has apparently reneged on his contract.
Prieto was signed by the Jets as a direct replacement for Nick Carle who left the club at the end of the 2006-2007 season.[1] It was intended that Prieto would play a similar role to Carle, with his creative ability and attacking prowess. He is currently playing for Ecuadorian club Emelec.
