Many flights are still being conducted under the ICAO code for Lauda Air Italy, LDI.[citation needed]
[edit] History
The airline was established on 13 January 2003 and started operations in May 2003. Lauda Air Italy had been established in 1990 and was majority-owned by the Volante company, itself controlled by Niki Lauda, while the remaining sharers were with Gruppo Ventaglio. On 31 March 2003, Gruppo Ventaglio purchased Volante's share and integrated Lauda Air Italy with Livingston under the parent company Livingston Aviation Group. It is wholly owned by Viaggi del Ventaglio Group and has 144 employees (at March 2007).[1].
