Liverpool Central School District is a public school district in a suburban community near Syracuse, New York in Onondaga County. It has ten elementary schools, three middle schools, and one high school with a district enrollment of about 8,500 students. Liverpool Central School District serves the entire Village of Liverpool and portions of the towns of Clay and Salina. A little more than half (51%) of its $121 million budget for the 2006-07 school year is funded from a local property tax with the remainder coming from state and federal sources.
