Liu Hailong is a Chinese Sanshou fighter. He is a San Shou or San Da-styled fighter, known for his participation in "San shou versus Muay Thai" tournaments held in both China and Thailand. He is one of the best Chinese kickboxers.[citation needed] He is dubbed the "Conqueror of Muay Thai" because he has beaten many top Muay Thai fighters.[citation needed]
In one Sanda vs Muay Thai challenge held in Guandong, China, Liu Hailong defeated Lukpoei Grabangkoei a Muay Thai champion from Thailand. He lifted Grabangkoei up and threw him out of the ring onto the concrete floor twice before splitting open the already battered face of Grabangkoei with a direct face punch hence resulting in a knockout.
Salihov Muslim, a highly accomplished Russian Sanshou fighter, has also failed to beat Liu Hailong in a closely fought bout in which Liu Hailong won on points.
