Should it be noted that while the Little Red Dot is a known epithet among Singaporeans, in reality, not all maps (with a sized projection such that Singapore would be hardly visible) represents Singapore with a red dot? I have seen Singapore represented with dots (or circles, squares, etc) of other colours, depending on the legend of the map. Most of the time Singapore is represented with a uniform symbol representing either City or Capital.
I am not asking that this article be made irrelevant. Just to put a note in case some people might really think that in all maps Singapore is always represented by a little red dot.--Fauzi (talk) 04:35, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
