[edit] Stores and restaurants?
Trust me, the town is so small that all the businesses are important to the people who live there. If you're not from there, you wouldn't understand.
I don't believe small business should be listed unless they have a special significance. Delete section? Swegner 19:51, 25 October 2005 (UTC)
Adamsville is not a neighboring town, it is part of little compton and answers to little compton jurisdiction.
- Perhaps a listing of neighbourhoods in Little Compton would clear this up. I was confused when I read it to.Leah 03:19, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
No entry on Little Compton is complete without mention of Sakonnet Vineyards, the oldest vineyard in New England. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.209.10.251 (talk) 12:50, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Ardin Myrin
I don't think the actress Arden Myrin is particularly relevant to Little Compton. Especially not right on top in the general entry. It seems like self-promotion. There's plenty of "interesting" people from the town. Someone should take that out. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.28.14.89 (talk) 15:52, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
I don't mind moving it. I think you're right. That's not the right place for it. I'm not familiar with the town myself, but if you say that there are many notables from there, can you tell me who? I can make a whole section on them. Then everyone's happy. :) Chrissypan 18:32, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Rhode Island Red
Little Comptons claims to fame, so to speak, is that it is the only place in the country with a monument to a chicken.

The map shows Rhode Island, but there's no indication where this town is inside of it. -- Beland (talk) 13:59, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
