Little Galloo Island

Little Galoo Island is a relatively small island located roughly 15 miles off the coast of Sackets Harbor, New York, in Lake Ontario. The island was once a popular area for tourists in the area, but recently, cormrants have ravaged the island, destroying all vegetation. The island is now just a small rock atoll, with a small lagoon in the center. Local schools have taken action to revive wildlife on the island.
