Should this page not have a "List of" title, like "List of scholastic philosophers"? --AW

This page now appears to consist only of a list of scholastic philosophers. Perhaps it should be moved to "List of scholastic philosophers." Michael Hardy 19:39 Mar 21, 2003 (UTC)

I agree. Although, if someone were to write it, an article at Scholastic philosophy explaining what it is would be useful. For now a move seems best. -- sannse 19:44 Mar 21, 2003 (UTC)

[edit] Peter the Archbishop

Who is Peter the Archbishop? The name has been on this list for years. But it seems unclear who is intended. Charles Matthews (talk) —Preceding comment was added at 09:55, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

In what sense can the following be said to be scholastics? Some of them are not even in the right time period: Bede, Dante Alighieri, Gottschalk, Hildegard of Bingen, Pseudo-Dionysius the Areopagite. Should they be on the list? Xxanthippe (talk) 10:56, 11 May 2008 (UTC).
