who is the person who can authorize the existence of such companies bein added to the list?

[edit] Outdated List
I think the list of the biggest oil companies here are outdated and needs to be changed. There is a newer list available Here. Aditreeslime 05:40, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] marketing or producing?
I removed the two recently added companies, which are not oil producing companies, but are gas station chains. If the consensus is that this list should include marketers, someone can add them back, but my perception has been that this is a list of petroleum producing companies. The first link listed under "Reference" was broken. I added the correct link at the bottom, but I am not sure how to remove the first (broken) link...

Wouldn't it make more sense to just put the pages of these companies in the appropriate category, like oil companies? ThreeE (talk) 02:17, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
