List

[edit] rename

suggest renaming to List of ornithology journals. with a redirect from List of birding journals. The overlap is significant, and Lists for other animal groups follow that simpler patternDGG 05:00, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

  • Support. Absolutely. Go for it. Snalwibma 07:37, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] worldwide scope

I'm not convinced by having a list headed "worldwide scope" alongside the national lists. Many (most) of the "national" titles are in fact worldwide in scope. Ibis, for example, routinely publishes articles on birds from all over thw world. Yet it is cleaerly a European journal. I think the "worldwide" ones should be distributed to the places where they are published, and this classification explained in a note at the top of the list. Any objections? • Now done as suggested. Well, no one had objected ... Snalwibma 14:50, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
