Is the only difference between 国定公園 and 国立公園 the idea that the former are managed by the prefecture, rather than by the central government? If there are further differences, these should be explained. Thank you. LordAmeth 20:03, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

I think this list has a lot of information that would be better treated in an article National Parks of Japan, which does not exist. We have enough sources and info to do this. Anyone interested? Djlayton4 | talk | contribs 02:01, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
