[edit] Other ethnic groups

While visiting NYC recently, I also heard what sounded like a Greek and a Jewish music station? Are these full-time formats? Are there other ethnic formats? -- Beland (talk) 22:43, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

In past years I would suspect WEVD which gave an hour or two per day to each of these languages and several others. Nowadays other stations do this but I haven't kept track. WEVD changed a few years ago and dropped foreign languages. I know of no monolingual (or nearly monolingual) stations except in English and Spanish. Jim.henderson (talk) 18:19, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
