[edit] Defunct companies

There are several defunct companies in this article. Hawk is now part of Testors. Frog is long gone dead - Frog models are made by Novo and Revell these days. Aurora is long dead and I believe bought up by Revell. Revell itself was bought up by Monogram.

Should defunct companies be taken out or left on the list (with notation?) --Eqdoktor 04:30, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

It seem to me that change in ownership by companies needs to be provided in the list since often the kits they manufactured are re-released by new owners. This is required information to model builders. --Mrg3105 08:54, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
