Question: Are high school and/or college jazz festivals permitted on this list?

Well, my opinion is that we should limit the list to festivals that are big and well-known, or otherwise significant. That is, festivals that are likely to have a Wikipedia article about them (some day). --Jonik 14:22, 3 August 2005 (UTC)

My school hosts a large jazz festival each year in march. It is only a high school festival, but each year we bring in two famous acts, such as Maynard Ferguson, Stanley Clarke, the Count Basie Orchestra, Spyro Gyra, and the Woody Herman Orchestra, among others. Also, this is a unique festival because of the fact that few, if any, other high schools do anything like this, with such big name acts. Could this be included in the list and would this warrant a Wikipedia page? ptfreak 12:36, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
