List of hip hop genres Should the page be renamed, if most of the articles listed are not genres? Should G-funk and Dirty South really be in the regional scenes section? Isn't there non-west-coast G-funk? There was a British group [1] and a lot of east coast hip hop influenced by Dre. Anyway, some of Dre's collaborators were from the east, such as Kurupt. [edit] Timba

is most usually not connected to Hip Hop at all. Of course you can fuse them, just as you can fuse grunge and Mozart. Get-back-world-respect 23:32, 14 February 2006 (UTC)

feel free to remove it then.--Urthogie 11:36, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] AltNuMet

I've made a few additions, but I'm not sure whether to add AltNuMet. Tim Ivorson 14:22, 5 May 2006 (UTC)

Probably shouldn't. Influence isn't enough; it either has to be a subgenre or a hip hop fusion genre.--Urthogie 18:42, 5 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] New Orleans hip hop

There is no need to add New Orleans hip hop to the list. It is already there under regional scenes. Tim Ivorson 2006-07-25
