I am not comfortable with the use of the word species in this article (and its title) about mythical creatures. The word species should be reserved for the taxonomic classification of flora and fauna. LittleOldMe 12:59, 27 April 2007 (UTC)

Moreover, they are called "breeds" in the books and it is clear they can interbreed. AJD 21:00, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
