Given the definition "the proportion of working age adults employed" these numbers seem way too high. For example, [1] puts that number at 61.2% for Canada in 2001. I suspect that the OECD chart actually shows participation rate, or some similar statistic, which includes unemployed people looking for work.--Yannick 07:24, 19 May 2007 (UTC)

No, it is accurate. It is because the definitions of "employement rate" are different : Canada uses : 15+ years old where OECD uses 15-64. MaCRoEco 16:11, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
