[edit] Droppsburgh Redd
Why isn't the Droppsburgh Redd listed? Deng.x.ping (talk) 05:35, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
- Because it is not recognized as even existing as a true breed by the American Poultry Association, it's not mentioned in any of the major books listing breeds, and there is no other reliable published source which speaks on the subject. A very minor commercial strain is not necessarily a separate breed. VanTucky 19:04, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

- How do I submit the Droppsburgh Redd to the American Poultry Association? Surely there must be other international organizations that certify and recognize chicken breeds (American Kennel Club vs. English Kennel Club for example).
-
- As for "minor commercial strain", while only EDSI maintains all rights to the use of the Droppsburgh Redd, I wouldn't call the breed "minor". Thanks for your input however. Deng.x.ping (talk) 11:34, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
