Talk:List of characters in Saint Tail

[edit] Multi-language
I question the need to have the "Character dub names" listed for languages besides English. This is the English Wikipedia, and I think continually adding information for other languages defeats the purpose of having multiple language versions of Wikipedia. I think all of these others should go on the respective language versions of this page. ···日本穣? · Talk to Nihonjoe 03:54, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
- I can't think of a need to list dub names other than when the names themselves give weight to the article. I can think of an instance where noting names in other languages is applicable. On List of characters from Ojamajo Doremi the Italian names are mentioned. Each of the girls' names in Italian are also musical terms and music is an important attribute of that series. --Squilibob 04:37, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
- List the Italian names under a trivia heading on the main article. We talk about the Japanese names because this is a work from Japan, and the English dub names because this is the English wikipedia. This... is just insane... it makes my head hurt.. I removed it.. the voices don't stop.. -- Ned Scott 05:25, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
- I forgot to notice before you removed it, but if there were any characters listed in the table that were not on the page, I think we should still list them on this page (just not with 10 different language formats). ···日本穣? · Talk to Nihonjoe 20:26, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
- I'm the one who put most of it on the page. I have no problem with it being removed. --Lesoria 04:21, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Page move to "Characters in Saint Tail"?
I've been reading the anime/manga project's article assessment section, and it says "Name this page List of characters in (series) if it is just a list, or Characters in (series) if it contains actual information on the characters." Anyone against me moving List of characters in Saint Tail to Characters in Saint Tail to comply? --Lesoria 04:42, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Mayor Hideo Morinaka.jpg
Image:Mayor Hideo Morinaka.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
