There is clear definition on the to of the page: "The battles on this page are organized by country, that is, by the present location of the battlefield, not by the countries which participated in the battle." I corrected the list according to the definition. What is wrong?
A lot of mistakes are still there, however. I find it senselessly to correct them in such a hostile environment. Anyway everything will be reverted by a well known group of people. Hopefully the arbitration commity will pay attention to such facts.--AndriyK 10:35, 25 November 2005 (UTC)
"A lot of mistakes": Yes, that's why I asked this question. Neither your nor previous version fit the definition in full.
Anyway, IMO this article is dead-born. There are already hundreds of battles in wikipedia, and thousands to go, so this list is doomed to be hoplessly incomplete. Well, whatever. mikka (t) 07:06, 27 November 2005 (UTC)
At least I corrected several mistakes. What was the reason to revert?--AndriyK 15:24, 27 November 2005 (UTC)
Yeah, this list will always be incomplete. It's still interesting though =) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.146.101.24 (talk) 04:57, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Australia

As an Australian I can tell you that Australia has never had a land battle for our very short history, so their is no need to have a Australia section in this list Aussie King Pin 22:21, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

What about Darwin? It was an attack by air so no different from Battle of Midway or Battle of Perl Harbour. Would you accept that as an Australian battle? Wundermac (talk) 00:23, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
