what about james quinn from dublin he is abare knuckle boxer is he or was he any good???????? Someone added boxers from this list, most of which are not bareknuckle boxers. *Bare-knuckle miscellaneous fighters This list needs serious review.--Matt1978 13:04, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

Wouldn't this be better off as a category? It's easier to add a boxer to the list, and we wouldn't see the long list of names of boxers without Wiki-bios that way... --Tthaas 15:12, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

I have added Jonny Love, and Mark Ripley all mentioned in Jimmy Stockins book and Bartley Gormans book, I have also added a web link to Jimmy stockins book. I have also added bareknuckle fighter Darren Jackson, but it is linking it to the footballer, I have added web link to an unlicenced boxing fight with Darren Jackson. If any one knows how to make a short Darren Jackson page, so it does not get directed to the footballer that should do it.

What I found from wikipedia is that bare knuckle fighter are from the travelling community as I am and that it is not easy to verify with web content and the Romany way is not to put things down in writting, I had the same problem when writting about romany history on wikipedia, if there is any other Romany/travellers that understand and can help.
