Talk:List of auto racing tracks

Is this required? It seems to me to duplicate the categories system of auto racing tracks e.g. Category:Motor racing venues in the United Kingdom. Alexj2002 21:58, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

It's nice to have a comprehensive page that lists mtoor racing circuits by country. A list of circuits that is restricted to a series of car is also a good thing to have, as in the List of Formula One Circuits, but it is not as helpful as this list would be if one is looking for all the tracks listed in a country. I am not sure that this list is completely comprehensive yet, but that can be worked on over time. This may be a personal preference, but I would rather look at a single list divided up by country rather than having to search for individual lists by country. Jeff 14:54, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
