There appears to be significant crossover between the articles Local derbies in the United Kingdom and List of football (soccer) rivalries. Can these be merged or somehow restructured to prevent duplication? --Jameboy 11:11, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

Not the entire page, just the England section. In its place on this page, we should say "See Local derbies in the United Kingdom" and bring it down to football. In the meantime, though, I have named one derby and added another. -Bardiak 22:18, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

Isn't this list just a display of original research? You can put in whichever teams you like and claim that their is rivalry between, no reasons given. Perhaps the list would better be deleted? JdeJ (talk) 12:40, 20 November 2007 (UTC)

Half the matches on this list are a joke, aren't they? Liverpool v. Notts Forest? Why, because they contested two or three title races in the late 70s-early 80s? Or because they played at Hillsbrough? And let's be honest, most Liverpool fans hardly blame Forest for that, do they? Arsenal v. Liverpool has more history behind it. I could go on with the amount of matches that don't deserve to be on that list, butI'm late for the riot that's apparently breaking out between Liverpool and Forest fans.
