Talk:List of ZF transmissions
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
What about the new 6HP19 which is being used for the new BMW 3series and the X3?
Does anyone have any information on that transmission?

Also I can see no mention of the CVT (belt driven continuously variable transmission) that ZF manufacture (or did at any rate). This had six manual steps in addition to the auto mode. I have experience of this fitted to a Rover 45 and whilst it was superbly smooth and a delight to drive, the transmission failed three times under warranty. Not a good advert for ZF. I suspect that this 130 ps engine was too near the torque limit for the design. Cabinscooter (talk) 12:22, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
