[edit] Where are the sources?
I know that a lot of people here provide sources for when the English air dates for episodes are coming on. Cartoon Network and TV.com don't have them, so where are you guys finding them? I want to know so I can update this when I see it.
Isn't it natural to assume it'd be a weekly show? - Random person —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.128.201.250 (talk) 18:46, 22 November 2007 (UTC) You can check video providers too. Such as megavideo and youtube. This is for finding info on the videos themselves and it seems cartoonnetwork cut it off the schedule due to the thoughts in 132-155 that can't really be changed or censored out. -Madymady —Preceding unsigned comment added by Madymady (talk • contribs) 17:19, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
No, I'm not sure of the exact reason but 132-155 are airing on 4kids TV currently. I watched it this morning.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Brian (talk 4:54, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Unprotection
Please unprotect this page. There was no reason to protect it in the first place. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.133.193.225 (talk) 22:07, 5 December 2006 (UTC).
[edit] Grand Merge
Despite my earlier contributions to such, I feel the individual episode guides are no longer need. I suggest deleting all the episode articles, and do with them what is currently done with the original series - create a single page for the separate story arcs. Thus, Episodes 1-26 would be a page, 27-52, another, and so forth. I feel this will eliminate the need for the episode pages and will be much more encyclopedic. This is the list I suggest.
Freshman Year/School Duel - Episodes 1-26
Shadow Riders/Sacred Beasts - Episodes 27-52
Sophomore Year - Episode 53-83
GX Tournament - Episode 84-104
Dis-Duels - Episode 105-119
Alternate Dimension - Episode 120-Present
I suggest we give it a week for discussion, and if there are no objections, we do the merge. Drake Clawfang 01:35, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
- Looks like we were snowed by a Bobabobabo sock (not Drake, but Duelholiday). Let's try this again. JuJube 05:24, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
Yeah. I will try and get the pages ready this weekend, and we can then redirect the individual pages to their respective new ones. Drake Clawfang 18:17, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
episode 156 to present are graduation and darkness. -madymady —Preceding unsigned comment added by Madymady (talk • contribs) 17:22, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] A target of speedy deletions
It looks like at least one of the individual episode guides have recently been speedily deleted [1]. Just posting a notice so the hopefully people can resolve this cat and mouse waste of time. —Tokek 07:48, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
- That was created by a banned user. Those are all subject to immediate deletion.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 07:48, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
Madymady- I've watched the series a lot. I think that you're list is correct but for alternate dimensions you should do only up to 156 or so. The new season has a new Jaden. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Madymady (talk • contribs) 02:39, 25 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Name Change
This seemed the best place to let the people who know me know what happened,so here goes. I forgot my old password as Drake Clawfang, so this is my new account. Just a heads up. The Clawed One 21:09, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Single episodes
I plan on redirecting these per WP:EPISODE soon. Information from multiple secondary sources must be present for a single episode to need an article. This includes reception and development. Single plot summaries and trivia don't make a substantial article. I suggest Wikia and tv.com as alternate venues for this information. TTN 17:56, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, an idea for a grand merge seemed to die out, but it would be nice for these to go. They're all to short and not at all notable.
[edit] Merge
I'm redirecting all the pages for episodes 1-26 to this page. Help me clean it up, I'll get on the other story arcs in time. The Clawed One 20:34, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Episode notability
All of the episodes of this series fail the notability guidelines for television episodes. The way for these articles to be improved is through the inclusion of real-world information from reliable sources to assert notability. That is unlikely to happen, and these only contain overly long plot summaries, trivia, and quotes. Per that, they need to be a small part of this list. If there are no objections, these will be redirected soon. TTN 23:43, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
- agreed totally. I tried to merge all the episodes into arc article encompassing specific story arcs, but it didn't pan out. I agree with this merge 100%. The Clawed One 00:22, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
- I: object. Please use the Wikipedia:Television episodes/Review process. - Peregrine Fisher 05:45, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
- And that is relevant to the poor quality of the episode articles how? The Clawed One 05:51, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
- TTN did to this maybe a thousand articles at once, it's not allowing for a reasonable discussion of the merits of these articles. Maybe all these articles should be redirected, but it's hard to say when there's over a 1000 articles to look at. - Peregrine Fisher 05:57, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
- And that is relevant to the poor quality of the episode articles how? The Clawed One 05:51, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Speeding through the episodes in the UK
The UK is currently showing two episodes a weekday on ITV2 and CITV, yesterday (Monday, 22 October 2007) showing episodes 117 and 118, and today (Tuesday, 23 October 2007) showing episodes 119 and 120. If this pace continues, the UK will pass the dates listed on Friday, 26 October 2007. So the dates for episodes 125 onwards may be incorrect from Friday. CITV has stopped showing new GX episodes and restarted the entire series before though. Just to let you know when I change them on Friday if they continue. 87.194.36.229 21:05, 23 October 2007 (UTC) Changed. Episodes 125 and 126 were shown today. Akata 18:04, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
Episode 130 adn 131 aired today in uk, who removed the epsidoe titels they have been revealed by the uk broadcaster
[edit] U.S. Wikipedia?
- Taiketsu (talk · contribs) is under the impression that this is American Wikipedia, not English Wikipedia, and is trying to get this article to exclude the fact that episodes of the show have aired in other English-speaking countries before the U.S. This is clear systemic bias. JuJube (talk) 05:30, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Request for comment regarding airdates
Since Taiketsu refuses to comment on the talk page and simply reverts instead, I'm proceeding to the next stage of content dispute resolution, which is an RFC. The issue here is detailed in the above section. JuJube (talk) 16:07, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
- In List of Bleach Agent of the Shinigami arc episodes and List of Bleach Soul Society: The Sneak Entry arc episodes, two anime episode lists that are featured lists, "English airdates" are listed. At one time, it listed US airdates instead of the correct airdate of when it premiered in English (which was in Canada), even though the column was named "English airdate" (see Talk:List of Bleach episodes#English Airdates and Talk:List of Bleach episodes#English Airdates (redux)). This article should also use "English airdate" instead of "US air date", and list the date when each episode premiered on TV in English, so User:Taiketsu's edits should be reverted. --Silver Edge (talk) 09:22, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
- Every featured anime episode list that has aired in English media uses "English airdates." It's appropriate. Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 19:41, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, English airdate should refer to whereever it was shown first. Akata (talk) 14:51, 24 December 2007 (UTC)
The english airdate should also take into accoutn ireland which has aried 131 the day after 130
the english dub titles should be accepted from uk sources and nto be only american sources, if this is a american wikipedia i wanta administrator to confirm it as the front page says english
- Sources are fine and dandy, but you need to actually provide them. JuJube (talk) 01:44, 25 December 2007 (UTC)
I provided the source when i edited it, it was citv in the uk, but you need to get a free subscription to view it www.bds.tv —Preceding unsigned comment added by Andrewcrawford (talk • contribs) 22:03, 25 December 2007 (UTC)
I would like to see the whole english guide be fixed to first air date ina english speakign coutnry season 2 adn season 1 both aired in ireland and uk before america well the later half of them did —Preceding unsigned comment added by Andrewcrawford (talk • contribs) 18:44, 27 December 2007 (UTC)
No discussion has taken place in a while and it seem the conclusion reached was to 'use international english airtimes not US airtimes' if no one has any objections I will be closing this tomorrow (it isn't like a new one can't be started anyway). --Sin Harvest (talk) 00:52, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Yugioh gx logo.png
Image:Yugioh gx logo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] English 138
- Didn't anyone at least TiVo the title? It aired some time ago. JuJube (talk) 16:17, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
- there is no on screen episode titles and the episode titel was not released by the broadcaster unfortnally —Preceding unsigned comment added by Andrewcrawford (talk • contribs) 16:27, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
- The title is "His majesty The King" — —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.233.23.76 (talk)

[edit] This is a standalone list
This page is a standalone list and in accordance with Wikipedia:Lists (stand-alone lists) and following the naming conventions of other lists like it, has been renamed to List of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX media. --Farix (Talk) 02:27, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Information
Don't we at least want a summary of what goes on in the episode? I mean what's the point of the list if they only have the title. Are people supposed to go "Oh the episode is called 'Journey into Darkness', so Jaden dueled Atticus and Alexis confessed her feelings!" No, so if anyone has the dvds or tivo could they take the responsibilty of putting these in? Just two or three lines is all I ask. BioYu-Gi! (talk) 16:47, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
this will involve redoign the entire epsiode guide to a better format and this is best doen when the show is finished it will involve a lot of work —Preceding unsigned comment added by Andrewcrawford (talk • contribs) 20:39, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
- The episode list already uses {{Japanese episode list}}, so it doesn't need to be redone. All that really needs to happen is to split the list into it's own article, perhaps by season, and add in the summaries and the appropriate lead. --Farix (Talk) 21:09, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
- to add summaries willr equire a lot fo work, and ther eno poiunt have a serpate article for each season, i aint sayign what you askign for aitn a good idea but ti will require a lot of work esicpally to keep the japanese epsiode name —Preceding unsigned comment added by Andrewcrawford (talk • contribs) 21:16, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
- Writing episode summaries does require a little effort and lots of time, but its not really that difficult to do. The trick is determining how much detail to include. For example, I've been working, off and on, on the episode summaries for Shugo Chara! for the last week and finally catching up with the most recent fansubs. It would have been much easier to write these summaries as the episodes were coming out, but I've been having a lot of fun rewatching this series. Also please spell check and sign your comments. We don't require prefect spelling and grammar, I'd fail at that for sure, but it goes a long way in making your comment readable. --Farix (Talk) 22:23, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
- i am dsylexic so spell checkign is very difficult considering i dnt know hwo to spell in the first place knowing how to find the right word isnt easy. as for signature i jsut forget half the time. i aint talkign abotu writing the summaries i mean formating the tbale to add the summaries it will require a lot of work to make it understanable —Preceding unsigned comment added by Andrewcrawford (talk • contribs) 22:57, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
