[edit] AfD - Counting votes is not a debate
None of the actual recommendations seemed to be noticed. May as well be using a bot to tally the votes.--Pro-Lick 01:25, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] WM 23
Since when was the Fleet Center announced as the location of WM 23?? Im gonna remove it till it's proven. --Killswitch Engage 01:34, 27 March 2006 (UTC)Killswitch Engage
[edit] Armageddon 2007
Since when was the Mellon Arena announced as the location of Armageddon 2007?149.84.32.212 09:48, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
- I haven't seen it myself, but several editors claim it's mentioned on the 2007 calender that came with pre-orders of WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2007. TJ Spyke 23:30, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Definately no Disember to Dismemeber?
If there isn't great! That means Wrestlemania will be free in Britain! 82.44.161.102 13:33, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
- It doesn't mean that at all. Darrenhusted 16:50, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] REMOVE ARMAGEDDON FROM PPV TEMPLATE
Can someone remove Armageddon from the WWE ppv template, and place it under "former pay-per-views", i am unable to edit the template. Thank youTrUcO9308 14:12, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] LOCK ARTICLE
ARMAGEDDON IS NOT CONFIMED BY WWE FOR 2007, PEOPLE KEEP ADDING IT, AND SAYING IT WILL BE ON A CERTAIN DATE, NOT RELEASED BY WWE OR THE MELLON ARENA SCHEDULED WWE EVENTS. I AM REQUESTING THAT THIS ARTICLE SHOULD BE PROTECTED UNTIL JANUARY. IF YOU DONT BELIEVE ME GO TO THE MELLON ARENA WEBPAGE AND CHECK SCHEDULED EVENTS, AND GO UNDER WWE, NOTHING IS UNDER THERE, GO TO WWE'S SCHEDULED EVENTS, YOU WILL NOT SEE ARMAGEDDON IN DECEMBER, BUT THE OTHER PPV'S YOU WILL SEE.TrUcO9308 15:25, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
- 1)Turn of your caps lock, shouting will not help you convince anyone. 2)It was confirmed by WWE earlier this year, why they no longer list it is odd, but that is NOT confirmation that they cancelled it. Here is the original announcment of the PPV from WWE's own corporate website: [1]. I want to know where the dates from PPV's after WrestleMania 25 came from. TJ Spyke 00:06, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
- TJ is right, we will only know after Survivor Series for sure if there is a December PPV. Darrenhusted 14:26, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] How many total?
What is the grand total of ALL PPV's that WWE has run, as of September 26, 2007? This includes the country exclusive ones.72.24.25.252 02:07, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
- Including "No Holds Barred: The Match/The Movie" (where they aired the movie, then had a tag team match), 208 as of Unforgiven 2007. So No Mercy will be the 209th PPV from WWE. TJ Spyke 01:23, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Buy rates
Is there an independent source that gives each PPVs total buy rate? I think it'd be a good addition to the templates of each event if you could compare the TV buy rates but I don't know a) how to edit such things on the template and b) any website that gives these statistics. However I would be interested to see them. Anyone else agree? Tony2Times 14:12, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
- Only WWE corporate gives buy rates, which are then reported by all other sites. I agree that each PPV article should include the buy rate like films include grosses. Darrenhusted 15:08, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
- I disagree. The buyrate is generally not-notable (there are exceptions, like how December to Dismember only had 90,000 people ordering it). It used to be included in the infobox, but it was decided a long time ago to take it out. TJ Spyke 23:17, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
- Oh, that's a shame. Is there anywhere reputable that has an archived history of it?Tony2Times 17:15, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
- WWE Corporate does release information of their monthly buyrates every quarter. You can go check there for accurate sources. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.240.112.203 (talk) 20:08, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] No Way Out 2008
No way out will be in california because since smackdown after no way out will be in san diego and before no way out will be fresno one day before. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.133.221.217 (talk) 01:52, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
- No speculation please. Also, SmackDown is taped 2 days after a PPV, giving them enough time to go elsewhere. TJ Spyke 20:47, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
- It will be at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, NV because of a house show in Los Angeles on Saturday and Monday Night RAW from the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lakers244805 (talk • contribs) 08:27, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Completion of the upcoming PPV schedule
I can't include a source because it's offline. I bought the recent special issue of WWE Magazine about PPVs and it comes with a calendar of 2008's PPVs. WestJet (talk) 21:23, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
- It should (and can) still be sourced. See WP:CITE. Any unsourced material will be removed per WP:V. TJ Spyke 21:30, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] This article is terrible
The "Years Active" tag tells me nothing about the events before the brand extension. Hell, why do we even need a seperate table for the brand extension? I'm about ready to revert this whole thing to an older format. Mshake3 (talk) 22:58, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Vengeance
This ppv should be put in the defunct ppv list, because it's not lnow as vengeance anymore. (Sorry for my english, i'm from Spain) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.35.138.65 (talk) 14:39, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

- Yeah, I think it's safe to say Vengeance is gone. 65.189.210.173 (talk) 10:12, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Something Wrong with Grid
I'm not au fait with Wikifying tables and grids so I don't know what the problem is, but the list of PPVs under brand names messes up if you try and reorder it using name, brand, years etc. Tony2Times (talk) 15:34, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
