[edit] To do list
For each state, this article will include:
- Name of the code
- Location of the code online
- Adoption date of original code
- Source of original code (often, one state would adopt another state's code. also, some codes are attributed to the individuals who compiled them)
- Other pertinent information
As a result, it will be encyclopedic, and certainly not merely a list of external links. Thank you for looking it over, however. Brian Sayrs 19:35, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Wikilinking
Don't forget to link the years - I have linked the three years presently in the table. BlueValour 23:09, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
- No, don't link the years. It's excessive. See Wikipedia:Manual of Style (links)#Internal links —Markles 23:20, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Don't delete this article!
It is not merely external links. Some state's legal codes have internal links, such as General Laws of Massachusetts. For others, see Category:United States state legal codes. —Markles 23:23, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Pennsylvania
I deleted the note about Pennsylvania not posting their code due to "alleged copyright issues", since the copyright holder of the unofficial code (Purdon, now Thomson West) has posted it online, along with the titles of the official code released so far. There are a few other links to commercial publishers of official codes (Colorado, D.C., Maryland), so I assume this one is okay as well. 216.165.3.49 (talk) 06:31, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
