Talk:List of Toho alien races

- Toho has used both "Xilian" and "Xilien" to refer to the aliens ever since Godzilla: Final Wars went into pre-production. However, they have stated that they prefer "Xilien", according to TohoKingdom.com

- Admittedly, i still need to see the movie, but if the Xians from Final Wars are not merely a different wave, but an entirely different species, from those in Monster Zero, then it might be worth mentioning in the article. If they do both originate from the same Planet X, then that seems enough to merge the two sections. (Don't worry, i'll use "Xilians" in articles; just perpetuating a bad but nostalgic habit. Incidentally, were the aliens given the official name "Xilians" only through Final Wars, or have they had an official English name since Monster Zero?)—Crazilla 15:36, 31 December 2005 (UTC)
- Okay, first off, the aliens from Monster Zero and Godzilla Final Wars are called Xilians. That is Toho's official name for them. "Xian" is nothing but a fanzine name. Also, the correct spelling is Keizer (Dutch for king), not Kaiser (German for king). Mutants are both human and Xilian... and only mutants have a chance at becoming a Keizer because it requires both M-base and human DNA to bond in a certain way. There were two Keizers in GFW, one was Ozaki, the other was the Xilian Controller. This is why the Controller "liked his face". Because it was, in fact, his real face. It's also why he displays emotion while the other Xilians do not. If any of this confuses anyone, then perhaps they should pick up a legit copy of Godzilla Final Wars, and see Toho's official subtitles for clarification.
While the aliens are indeed discussed in (movie) chronological order, would it not be more appropriate to merge the two "Xian" sections into one with two subsections, as with the Third-Planet aliens? Given Toho's fondness for reviving old kaiju and villains, if left chronologically this page may eventually become quite disjointed. --Crazilla 00:29, 14 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Vortaak
Should the Vortaak (the aliens in the Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee timeline) be included on here? The games aren't canon but the three series of Godzilla movies aren't in the same timeline, the millium's films aren't even in the same timeline except for two of them. Or should a mention of them be put in the Kilacks' (sorry if thats spelled wrong) artical because the Vortaak look like they are largely based off the Kilacks. Superx 19:56, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page.
