Talk:List of OpenID providers
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] Work in progress!
Add any categories/notable providers that you can think of...I'm certainly not claiming this to be an exhaustive list.

[edit] yet another list?
Does Wikipedia need to attempt to maintain yet another list of providers? There are better references available:
- openid.net's "How do I get an OpenID?" and provider list
- Provider Comparison at Spread OpenID
- OpenID Directory's provider list

[edit] strong auth on myOpenID
myOpenID is under the "password-based" category here. It's true that most myOpenID accounts have passwords. It's also true that you can use SSL client certificates or information cards, and if you have either of those authentication methods, you may remove your password entirely. Users with an identity selector installed may create accounts using only an information card without establishing a password.
