Talk:List of Naruto OVAs
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I would like for someone to add plot summeries for the two OVAs.

[edit] Too Opinionated
Comments like "worth your money" do not belong in an encyclopedia article. Somebody needs to clean up this article.
I fixed up the 2nd one, since apparently the person who wrote it has never taken a grammar class. Also i have not seen the OVA so i could only correct the grammar errors and take out material that is not appropriate (like the above mentioned 'worth your money' statement and the play-by-play commentary about the fight scene). This stuff just doesnt belong here and is leaning towards fancruft, but not without good intention though. If someone has watched this OVA and could elaborate or write a good NPOV section it would be greatly appreciated. Tik 18:15, 8 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Merged Pages
Navigating through the individual articles to each OVA, I found that they were all tagged as "articles needing context". Since it is very likely that someone who is interested in one of the OVA's will eventually navigate to the summaries for the other OVA's, and because this page was painfully short and missing summaries, and in the interest of adding a context to those tagged pages, the following source articles have been fully merged into this article, namely, Naruto (OVA):
- Find the Crimson Four-Leaf Clover
- Battle at Hidden Falls. I am the Hero!
- Finally a clash! Jōnin VS Genin!! Indiscriminate grand melee tournament meeting!!
While it might not be the best solution possible, it is certainly an improvement over the ugly, tagged pages before. Byakuren 17:21, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Revert on Jul. 11, 2006
Just a quick note to explain the revert and avoid an edit fracas:
- - "Jounin" was changed back to "Jōnin", for spelling consistency, as per "Naruto ninja ranks" and the rest of the Naruto category.
- - "Godaime" is the correct Japanese word for "Fifth", at least according to every source I've found. Then again, I'm not Japanese, so if this is incorrect, plese update.

[edit] "Naruto the Movie OVA"?
Okay. OVA, "Original Video Animation", means that the animation is released directly to home video format with no prior theatrical or television showings. The fact that the short film from the movie was released theatrically alongside the movie should completely void it as being an OVA, shouldn't it? If anything, it should be considered a short film, and stuck in with the 1st movie's article, or this article needs to be rewritten a bit.
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Narutoova2.gif
Image:Narutoova2.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
