Correction needed: Browns are owned by a trust, not Lerner outright:
The Cleveland Browns are not owned outright by Randy Lerner. Instead, it appears that he controls a family trust set up by his deceased father, Alfred R. Lerner, and that the trust actually owns the team, according to this article by Len Pasquarelli at espn.com retrieved 12/14/2007: quote: And so Al Lerner structured the team to go into a family trust when he died. His heirs, wife Norma, son Randy and daughter Nancy Beck, essentially control 90 percent of the stock.
